The other day we went out for our Clara’s (our pastor’s wife) birthday. We were all having a nice meal. After we were done eating, Isaiah was standing in my lap. I guess he wanted some attention, because all of a sudden he threw himself headfirst down onto the table! He hit his forehead and nose and it sounded really loud. It was one of those moments when you knew that this was a BIG owie. He started crying really hard. I was afraid he’d broke his nose. It even bled a tiny bit.
He was kind of mopey the rest of the day and I gave him Tylenol in case his head hurt. He ended 
up being fine, though. I pressed on his nose to see if it hurt and he didn’t complain. He didn’t even get a knot on his head. I guess it just sounded a lot worse than it was.
Chris was playing the keyboard and singing, recently. Isaiah started swaying and singing, “Ahhh ahhh ahhh,” to the music. He is interested in all things musical. He loves to play Chris’ keyboard and the drums at church.
We’ve been leaving Chester in the house when we go away, lately. We just feel bad making him stay outside, since the weather has gotten colder. The funny thing is that when he is in the house and we are home, he gets into trouble and messes with stuff he shouldn’t, but when we are gone, he never touches anything. He lays on the couch and watches the door until we get home.
We had a Masters Commission team at our youth service last night. It’s fun for our kids to experience different types of ministry. They did dramas and shared their testimonies.
The team slept at the church last night and then came over to our house for breakfast this morning. Chris helped me cook and it all turned out really well. We like having people over and blessing them, so it was fun for us.
