Christmas Tree

Vacation has been somewhat stressful.  It’s hard for everyone to be out of their routine.  Isaiah and Chester have been extra mischievous and Chris and I have been extra impatient, which is not a peaceful combo.  Yesterday, I thought I was going to go crazy!  Finally we put Isaiah to bed and ignored all his yelling.  I went and did my Bible study and then I finally felt better.

After I did my Bible study, I put the ribbon and garland on the Christmas tree.  That was especially relaxing!  This morning I finished putting the decorations on the tree.  It looks pretty!  I love taking out all my decorations because each one reminds me of someone or a time in my life.

Our big challenge this season is going to be keeping the kids away from the tree.  Chester thinks it’s the perfect place to hide behind when he has stolen something.  Isaiah just wants to touch it all.  We have an electric train that goes around the bottom of the tree that is especially tempting.

Isaiah spilled half a bag of Doritos in the hallway this morning.  Then he stepped on them.  Lovely.  Chester ate a bunch of them and I guess the vacuum will have to get the rest.  Our kids are so funny!
