Leah isn’t sleeping through the night. I’m happy if she goes four hours between eating. But she does sleep in her own bed, so at least we don’t have to fight about that with her. If I feed her right before I go to bed, I only have to feed her once in the middle of the night and once early in the morning. It’s not too bad. Chris lets me sleep in the mornings and gets Isaiah’s breakfast, so that is a big help to me!
Isaiah is a great big brother! Last night he sat down by Leah while she was playing on her blanket, and he patted her belly, held her hand, rubbed her head and talked nice to her. Then he tried to help her by putting her nu-nu in her mouth, but he kept moving it, so that she had to turn her head to follow it. She got upset, but he laughed and patted her belly like they were sharing a good joke.
Starbucks recently put out their Christmas blend coffee and red cups, so the holidays have begun! I love Christmas more than anything else! I’m so excited to get out my Christmas music and put up the tree. But I can’t do it before Thanksgiving, because that would spoil the tradition. Chris and I were previewing Christmas albums on Itunes and I was just about melting, they were so wonderful! Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, Diana Krall… so beautiful! Then, nostalgia hit Chris when he found the Gene Autry Christmas album, which took him back to his childhood!
