Poop!

I’m doing what every parent of a new baby does… talking about poop.  Except that it is my daughter, not me, that is fascinated by poop.  Leah always decides she has to go right during the middle of eating.  Because she is so little, it’s a task to keep her awake through the whole meal, so any distractions to eating are not appreciated by me.

And pooping is a BIG distraction.  A very exciting distraction.  Whenever she is doing a job, her eyes open up wide and she looks around like she’s saying, “Is that me?  Am I doing that?”  When she gets all done, she has a big grin on her face like she was just crowned Miss America.  If it wasn’t so interrupting to meals, it would be the funniest thing ever!

I’m amazed at how content this little girl is!  Especially after all she was put through in her first week of life.  My mom says it’s because she is a girl (that’s how her girls were, anyway).  Chris and I were talking about how different a little girl will be.  We’re so used to Isaiah running around the house, roaring, chasing the dog, beating on things, etc.  We won’t know what do with a little lady!
