Carnegie Science Center

We took the kids to the Carnegie Science Center yesterday. They were both so excited by everything they saw that they could hardly stand still long enough to look at one thing before they were running off to look at the next thing. The Science Center is very hands on and they definitely tried to touch everything! The highlight was by far the miniature railroad and village exhibit. It took up a whole room and was set up with stuff from old Pittsburgh, including steel mills. The lights were on a timer, so the room would get dark and all the houses would light up. There was so much to look at and even Leah got excited every time a train went by. My favorite was the miniature Incline… I put a picture of it below.
