Yay For Pasta!

We had a fun family date tonight! We went to Buca Di Beppo which is super good Italian. Leah loved her fettuccine alfredo. She’d grab fistfuls of pasta and aim for her mouth. Of course, a good bit ended up on the floor, and her clothes, and her face, and up her nose. But she was happy!

Then we went to Toys R Us to shop for Leah’s birthday. Can you believe she’s going to be one at the end of the month?! One is a really hard age to shop for, because baby toys won’t interest her much longer, but big girl toys aren’t quite her thing yet.

Speaking of Toys R Us, who came up with that place? It’s every parents worst nightmare, a meltdown waiting to happen. Isaiah wanted to touch, play with, and even take home everything he saw. And then to top it off the checkouts are lined with candy. Seriously, people, that’s not a way to make parents want to come back!

When we got home, a very exhausted Leah went to bed and Isaiah had a movie night with Mommy and Daddy! We watched Flushed Away. It had a lot of funny parts, even if the plot was a little weak. Apparently Isaiah liked it though, because as soon as the credits started to roll, he asked, “Can we watch it again?!”

Also, my super talented husband designed me a cool new blog site, so if you want to check it out (and continue to read my blog from there), go to blog.luzdelaestrella.com!
